The Bartlett Ninth Grade Academy is pleased to announce that Brittany Terrell has been selected as the new Assistant Principal beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.
Ms. Terrell holds an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from the University of Memphis. Ms. Terrell has served Bartlett City Schools, previously Shelby County Schools, for the past twelve years. She began her career as a Math teacher at Bon Lin Middle School where she taught for ten years. For the past two years she was the Instructional Facilitator at Elmore Park Middle School. Ms. Terrell has utilized her skills to lead others in the following capacities: Assessment and Instructional Learning Coach, Curriculum Writer, Professional Learning Community Leader, and Grade Level Administrator. She is passionate about helping others embrace the philosophy that education is not only what you learn with your head, but how you love with your heart and serve with your hands.
Ms. Terrell, who is also a product of Bartlett schools, is a proud mom to her son Liam who currently attends Altruria Elementary School. She is beyond excited and thankful to continue her educational career at the Bartlett Ninth Grade Academy. She is looking forward to serving in this new role and helping the Academy reach new heights. She truly believes that there is #NoPlaceIdRatherB!
